Dying enough that I'm stuck having to wait because the game idiotically penalizes you for dying TOO MUCH makes it not even worth bothering. I don't care about stygia on an alt, the Maw was already an area I couldn't stand even on a character that handles everything it can throw at you easily.
It just absorbed everything I did and kept me busy just long enough for MORE MOBS TO SPAWN. I finally struggle to get to the area the Loa's at and as other commenters said there are regular mobs in the area, including some necro mob that I couldn't do ANY damage to. The mounted ones seem to just respawn super fast, as I'd kill one then get 20 steps down the path and along comes another on the same route as the first. On the way the Loa in the Perdition Hold area is utterly full of mobs that hit hard. I've done it on a couple alts in the past but clearly I somehow got insanely lucky for it to have not been the massive waste of time it turned out to be today.
